Lightroom 2.x ships with some very cool Flash galleries
- SimpleViewer,
- PostcardViewer and
- Autoviewer
developed by the company Airtight Interactive. Airtight has developed one more great 3D Web gallery the TiltViewer, that is not integrated as Web Module in Lightroom.
Sample
If you have not yet seen this gallery somewhere, you should give it a try:

TiltViewer in Lightroom
As I have my photos organized in Lightroom, and wanted to publish TiltViewer galleries, I developed a web gallery module that produces TiltViewer galleries from the selected photos completely in Lightroom.
My module is still beta and for some reason you can’t see a preview of the gallery in Lightroom. But that is not as bad as you might think. You always can have a preview in your browser. And there are no parameters where you need the preview too adjust the values.
How to install
1st Step: Download LTDTiltViewer131.zip.
2nd Step: Unpack the archive file
3rd batch install in Windows
Open the new folder “LTD Airtight TiltViewer”, doubleclick INSTALL_LTD_only_windows.bat, the batch starts and does everything for you.
3rd manual install
Copy the new folder “LTD Airtight TiltViewer” to the destination folder “Web Galleries“. Depending on operating system that folder is found in:
- Mac
Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Web Galleries/ - Windows Vista
C:Users[username]AppDataRoamingAdobeLightroomWeb Galleries - Windows XP English
C:Documents and Settings[username]Application DataAdobeLightroomWeb Galleries
In Windows XP this folder is normally hidden. Set the folder option “show hidden files and folders” to find it.
If the folder “Web Galleries” doesn’t exit, you must create one.
Use the LTD Airtight TiltViewer Web gallery
Start Lightroom, select photos, switch to the module WEB. Choose from the gallery list in the right side panel the “LTD Airtight Tiltviewer” gallery.
For your first test you can just leave everything unchanged and click the button “Preview in browser …” on the bottom of the left panel.
Video Tutorial form the great instructor RC form the Kelby Media Group
For the first steps please watch the video tutorial below, created by the unbeatable RC (Raphael C. Concepcion) as a bonus chapter of his training course “Building a website with Photoshop CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4”.
RC has been kind enough to permit me publish this chapter here on my website.
You can get unlimited access to all online training on kelbytraining.com for just $19.95 per month or $199 per year. I can recommend the video tutorials from there..
