Information about my new Photoshop Flash panel AspectFrame
Beta
This tool is just for draw rectangular frames around images and optional add additional space to get the standard ratios of 4:3 and 3:2 with an optional cutting line.
AspectFrame is written in Flash and Photoshop Javascript.
Flash for the User Interface in a Photoshop panel and management of the XML Setting files, Javascript for doing the drawing work in Photoshop.
The Panel:

Features
- Each of the lines can have a different width and color.
- The colors con be taken form gray color presets, Photoshop foreground and background or a normal color picker

- It is possible to save presets

- Each of the single frame elements gets on its own layer to make it easy to apply later layer effects or set layer masks or make them transparent

How it works
- After a click on the button "frame the image" the panel saves a little XML Settings file and calls the script aspectframe_last. The script does all the framing work on the actual image.
- It can be used in actions by save the needed settings and then just use the Script aspectframe_last

The script adds automatically the additional space to the image where less additional space is needed.
